Opportunity:

Interventional Radiology Tech - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour shifts per 7-day work week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call responsibilities required (to be determined based on staffing)
• Some weekends may be required (to be determined based on staffing)
• Provide technical support and assistance to physicians during diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures
• Perform scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties with cardiac catheterizations and vascular procedures
• Assist in holding area and provide pre, during, and post procedural patient care
• Work with EPIC charting system
• Dress code: scrubs
• Work in 4-6 room unit/department
• Complete service partner orientation on first day plus department-specific training
• Graduate from approved school of radiologic technology required
• Minimum 2 years experience in diagnostic and/or interventional cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or CVT certification required
• BLS and ACLS AHA certification required
• Must demonstrate clinical competence in cardiac physiology/pathology and 12-Lead EKG interpretation
