Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Bedside staff RN managing critical care patients in rural setting
• 10-bed unit with nurse to patient ratios of 1:2 for critical care, 1:4 for stepdown, and 1:4-5 for medsurg overflow
• Will also cover medsurg shifts as needed
• Work with another RN, not alone
• On-call may be required if low census
• Weekend shifts required
• May float to medsurg, ER, or post-partum units to assist (not take patient load)
• Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, Space labs, cardiac monitoring, Mindray vitals, Nicom, Kangaroo pumps, Zo US defibrillators, and Pyxis
• Minimum 2 years critical care experience required
• Wyoming state or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Dress code: Any color scrubs
• Orientation includes HR and education requirements day 1, restraint training day 2, followed by one shadow shift
• Facility allows up to 24 hours of call-offs per 13-week contract
