Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts in a 6-bed ICU unit
• Nurse to patient ratio of 2:1, at times 3:1
• On-call responsibilities as needed
• Must be able and willing to float to Med Surg
• Minimum 3 years recent ICU experience required
• Active Alaska state RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS or ENPC
• Experience with EPIC charting required
• Standard 3-day department orientation provided
• Complete medication testing within first two weeks on-site
• Must follow CBA guidelines for scheduling
• Scrubs required (not provided by facility)
• Utilize Meditech and Pyxis Supply Stations for medications and clean supplies
• Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using nursing process and primary nursing principles
