Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts in a 6-bed intensive care unit
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 2:1, occasionally 3:1
• Minimum 3 years recent ICU experience required
• Must have active Alaska state RN license
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS or ENPC (required before start)
• Experience with EPIC charting system required
• Must be able and willing to float to Medical/Surgical units
• Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using nursing process and primary nursing principles
• Work with equipment including Meditech and Pyxis supply stations for medication and clean supplies
• Complete standard 3-day department orientation
• Must complete medication testing within first two weeks on site
• Scrubs required (not provided by facility)
• On-call responsibilities as needed
• Must follow CBA guidelines for scheduling
