Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 25-bed Med/Surg unit with nurse to patient ratio typically 1:3 or 1:4
• Six-week scheduling pattern including weekend requirements
• Depending on census, may work alone while second nurse is placed on call
• Complete daily patient assessments and medication administration
• Monitor IV drips and telemetry systems
• Handle patient admissions and discharges
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary team rounds
• Assist with patient transfers as needed
• Utilize Centriq EHR system for documentation
• Use Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Valid Michigan RN license required
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color
