Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with on-call responsibilities as needed
• Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
• Minimum 3 years recent ICU experience required
• Must have active Alaska state RN license
• Required certifications: Active BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS or ENPC
• Experience with EPIC charting system required
• Must be able and willing to float to Med Surg unit
• Work in 6-bed ICU unit with 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, sometimes 3:1
• Utilize equipment including Meditech, Pyxis Supply Stations for medications and clean supplies
• Complete standard 3-day department orientation and medication testing within first two weeks
• Must follow CBA guidelines for scheduling
• Scrubs required (not provided by facility)
• Must comply with departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and nursing practice standards
