Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts providing individualized, goal-directed nursing care
• Manage patient care through use of the nursing process and principles of primary nursing
• 31-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios per national standards
• On-call responsibilities as needed
• 3 years of Med-Surg background with critical thinking skills required
• Active Alaska state RN license required
• Heart Saver AED and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Equipment includes Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations
• 3-day orientation program including Meditech and OBIX training plus unit-specific orientation
• Must complete medication testing within first two weeks of assignment
• No floating to other units required
