Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation
• Follow contract requirements and department procedures with on-call availability as needed
• Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using nursing process and primary nursing principles
• Work on 31-bed unit following national standard nurse-to-patient ratios
• Required certifications: Active Alaska RN license, Heart Saver AED, BLS (AHA required)
• Minimum 3 years Med-Surg experience with strong critical thinking skills
• Experience with EPIC charting required
• Equipment utilized includes Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Complete 3-day Meditech and OBIX training plus unit-specific orientation
• Must complete medication testing within first two weeks on site
• No floating to other units or departments required
