RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Manage critical care patients in rural setting as bedside staff RN
• Work with another RN, not alone
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call may be required if low census
• Float to Med/Surg, ER, and post-partum units to help out (no patient load assignment)
• 10-bed ICU unit
• Nurse to patient ratios: 1:2 for critical care, 1:4 for stepdown, 1:4-5 for Med/Surg overflow
• Will also cover Med/Surg shifts
• Equipment utilized includes Alaris IV pumps, Space labs, cardiac monitoring, Mindray vitals, Nicom, Kangaroo pumps, Zo US defibrillators, and Pyxis
• Minimum 2 years critical care experience required
• Wyoming state or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Dress code: Any color scrubs
• Orientation includes HR and education requirements day 1, restraint training day 2, one shadowing shift then expected to work independently
• Facility allows up to 24 hours call-off per 13-week contract
• Candidates with permanent address within 50 miles of facility not allowed
