RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Provide bedside nursing care for medical-surgical patients of all ages
• Work either day or night shifts (to be finalized at start date)
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call may be necessary during low census periods
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 typically, occasionally 1:6 during emergent surgeries
• Float to ER, post partum, and stepdown units to assist (no patient load when floating)
• Work in 20-room unit with 35 beds
• Utilize equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Hill-rom beds and call systems, Kangaroo pumps, and Quadramed Pyxis
• Complete HR orientation on day 1, restraint training on day 2, shadow one shift, then begin independent work
• Flexible scheduling - cannot expect block or set schedules as position helps fill gaps
• Minimum 2 years medical-surgical experience required
• Wyoming RN state license required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• No specific dress code color requirements
• Candidates with permanent addresses within 50 miles of facility are not eligible
