Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures to provide accurate images and measurements for physician diagnosis
• Conduct adult and pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures including TEE and stress echo
• Perform peripheral vascular procedures including arterials, renals, and transcranial Doppler
• Assist physicians with complex procedures in OR, Hybrid lab, Cath lab including TAVR, SAVR, Tandem heart, and Lariet procedures
• Provide immediate feedback with preliminary reports of critical results to nurses and physicians
• Operate ultrasound equipment and utilize ancillary devices such as selected transducers and digital networking systems
• Review pertinent patient data and reports before procedures
• Maintain proper documentation according to lab, departmental, and hospital policies
• Participate in on-call rotation after regular business hours
• Must have 6 months of related experience and ability to work independently
• Required certifications: RDCS or RVT from ARDMS, or RCS or RVS from CCI, plus BLS certification
• High school diploma or GED required; graduate of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Cardiac Ultrasound certification program preferred
• Must have skills in Adult Echocardiography, Epic, and previous traveler experience
• Maintain current competency and registry in specialty practices
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members and work directly with patients
