Description
Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Perform diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound procedures to provide accurate images and measurements for physician diagnosis
• Conduct adult and/or pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures including TEE and stress echo
• Perform peripheral vascular procedures including arterials, renals, and transcranial Doppler
• Assist physicians with complex procedures in OR, Hybrid lab, Cath lab and CAD including TAVR, SAVR, Tandem heart, and Lariet procedures
• Provide immediate feedback with preliminary reports of critical results to nurses and physicians
• Operate ultrasound equipment and utilize ancillary devices such as selected transducers and digital networking system
• Review pertinent patient data and reports before procedures
• Exercise judgment in notification of abnormal results to reading physician
• Maintain proper documentation according to lab, departmental, and hospital policy
• Participate in on-call rotation after regular business hours
• Six months of related experience required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Cardiac Ultrasound certification program preferred
• Required certifications: RDCS or RVT from ARDMS, or RCS or RVS from CCI
• BLS certification required
• Must have skills in echocardiography, Epic, and previous traveler experience
• Ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills
• Maintain current competency and registry in specialty practices

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
