Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards
• Complete patient assessments and individualize care plans within established unit guidelines
• Organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills appropriate for cardiac catheterization patients
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge in cardiovascular procedures and interventions
• Document nursing process and care on appropriate medical records accurately and legibly
• Provide patient education regarding cardiac procedures and discharge planning
• Collaborate with cardiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patients during and after cardiac catheterization procedures
• Perform titrations and manage advanced cardiac medications
• Required certifications: Valid Oklahoma RN License (or multi-state), BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must have skills in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, BLS for Healthcare Providers, ICU Nursing, and Titrations
• Preferred skills include Neurology experience and NIHSS proficiency
• Epic experience preferred
• Zero to six months of related experience required
• Must demonstrate effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
