Opportunity:

RN - CCU

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Care Unit using the nursing process
• Complete patient assessments and individualize care plans within established guidelines
• Organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills appropriate for cardiac patient population
• Document nursing care accurately using correct medical terminology and abbreviations
• Facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning
• Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines as appropriate
• Must have willingness to float to Med Surge units as needed
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• 0-6 months of related nursing experience accepted
• Required certifications: Valid Oklahoma or multi-state RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must have skills in cardiac care, critical care nursing, neurological nursing, and respiratory diseases treatment
• Dialysis experience preferred
• Attend mandatory in-services and meet unit education standards
• Demonstrate professional judgment in response to changing patient situations
