Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with Saturday rotation schedule
• Variable call rotation responsibilities
• May be required to work flexible hours, alternate shifts, weekends, and call as necessary
• May need to flex hours/shift to support department needs
• Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide instruction to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety
• Apply principles of magnetic resonance safety to minimize risk to patients, self, and others
• Select and operate magnetic resonance systems, surface coils, physiologic gating devices, and associated equipment
• Position patients and equipment to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest
• Perform venipuncture, start and maintain venous access, and prepare and administer contrast media
• Assist physicians with interventional procedures and practice aseptic technique
• Evaluate images and data for technical quality and manipulate digital data for display
• Use radiology information systems including PACS, complete required records and reports
• Initiate basic life support action when necessary and provide practical instruction to partners and students
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program required
• Experience as an MRI Technologist required
• ARRT Radiography registration required
• ARRT MRI registration required
• Approved CPR or BLS certification required
