Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Vascular Tech - Angiography

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Perform diagnostic vascular examinations upon physician orders
• Operate laboratory equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
• Operate medical record and imaging systems appropriately
• Transport, move, and position patients safely
• Assist physicians with special vascular lab procedures
• Must be registered through ARDMS with RVT certification (preferred) or through CCI with RVS certification
• Registration required within 90 days of hire date if not currently registered
• Minimum 15 hours of CME required every three years in compliance with IAC standards
• Minimum two years experience under supervision of qualified vascular physician or vascular laboratory preferred
• Must be graduate from accredited institution
• Maintain educational requirements and competencies for vascular certification
• Ensure compliance with IAC standards
• Assist in precepting students and new employees
• Maintain safe working environment and patient comfort
• Perform cleaning and disinfection in compliance with hospital policies
• Must have permanent address 50+ miles away to qualify as traveler
• Physical demands include exerting up to 20-50 pounds occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently
