Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech Outpatient

Job Details:

• Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce images for licensed practitioner interpretation
• Operate magnetic resonance scanner to obtain diagnostic and treatment images
• Use knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to create high-quality images
• Modify technical settings and adjust scanning parameters to enhance images and minimize exposure
• Assist radiologists and medical staff during examinations and procedures
• Complete documentation in designated areas for proper interpretation, reporting, and archival
• Retrieve prior images, studies, written orders, and related health information
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on scanner equipment
• Work in busy and stressful environment with limited supervision
• Must work beyond standard 40-hour workweek including weekends and after-hours shifts
• On-call work required to respond promptly to organizational and patient needs
• Must live at least 90 miles away from facility to be considered
• Graduate of CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Certified MRI Technician certification required
• Previous MRI experience required
• Complete required education assignments per DNV requirements and facility policy

The facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances, ensuring appropriate staffing levels while maintaining quality patient care.
