RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• RN license from any state is acceptable - Arizona state license not required
• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages and their families
• Work independently while following physician orders, standards of care, and hospital policies
• Perform variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and clinical judgment
• Support inpatient and outpatient emergency services
• Must maintain current certifications throughout employment:
  - Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
  - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association
  - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association
  - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within one year of hire
  - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within one year of hire
  - Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within one year of hire
  - NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within 6 months of hire
  - Emergency Severity Index Level 5 within 3 months of hire
  - Patient Sitter Competency Training upon hire
• Orientation provided every 2 weeks
• Limited housing options available - shared housing units at $600 per month based on availability
• No family or pets allowed in provided housing

This JCAHO accredited health center serves a 4,400 square mile area and functions as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The 73-bed facility was constructed in 1975 and provides comprehensive healthcare services including inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures. Approximately 49% of surgeries performed are outpatient/ambulatory procedures. The facility maintains a diverse medical staff including surgeons, specialists, and comprehensive nursing teams to serve the community's healthcare needs.
