Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Nursing - PCU
Job Details:
• Provide care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on medical/surgical unit
• Care for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, pre and post PCI care, pacemaker, revascularization, carotid endarterectomy, thoracotomy, CHF, COPD, DKA, renal failure, DVT, PE, sepsis and surgical services
• Operate advanced medical equipment including A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, patients requiring noninvasive and invasive ventilatory support
• Care for patients with central lines, chest tubes, nasogastric tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, arterial lines, multiple IVs and patients requiring short term ventilation support
• Manage common IV medications including Heparin, Diltiazem, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Amiodarone, Dopamine
• Provide direct patient care from admission to discharge including discharge planning
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery
• Act as clinical leader and assist with precepting staff
• Give directions to RN, LPN, CNA, Housekeeping Staff, and Dietary Staff
• Complement Medical Surgical Nursing Unit when staffing actions are required
• Current Montana RN License required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire
• EPNC, TNCC certification preferred
• Basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation skills required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Post heart catheterization experience preferred
• Position classified as Rapid Response Crisis

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
