RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment starting January 19, 2026
• Assist during surgical procedures by maintaining sterile surgical field and providing instrumentation to surgical team
• Must possess expertise in sterile and aseptic technique with knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures
• Function with working knowledge of AORN standards
• Maintain and check all items for proper packaging, processing, and sterile indicators
• Monitor sterile field for contamination events and initiate corrective action under supervision
• Work towards competency or be competent with Tier 1 surgical cases
• Participate in Time Out Process including briefings and debriefings
• Assist with patient transports, room turnovers, and room preparation
• Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization
• Must be licensed as a Surgical Technologist in Colorado
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association required
• Must obtain computer skills within 90 days for online learning requirements
• Physical demands include 50% standing, 20% walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to care for patients of all age groups from neonatal to geriatric
