Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Echo Technologist - Echo Tech
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM schedule
• On-call weekend rotation every 7 weeks
• May be required to work flexible hours
• Perform echocardiographic examinations including M-mode, 2D/3D Doppler, transesophageal and stress testing
• Work consistently in Adult Echo/Stress/TEE/Call Coverage with some pediatric cases
• Produce two and three dimensional ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses
• Assess, prepare and perform comprehensive echocardiographic examinations
• Use clinical judgment to determine need for additional testing protocols
• Recognize arrhythmias and take appropriate action by notifying physician for abnormal readings
• Assess quality of electrocardiographic and echocardiography recordings
• Document patient and procedural information in medical records with 98% accuracy
• Educate patients and families about procedures
• Provide emotional support, physical comfort and safety for patients and visitors
• Maintain equipment and work area in proper working condition
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations
• Associate or Bachelor's degree from accredited program required
• BLS certification required
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
