Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week with various shift options available
• 5 eight-hour shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 4 ten-hour shifts: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• 3 twelve-hour shifts: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
• May require occasional weekend shifts, on-call rotation, and holiday rotation
• Must be flexible with hours and shifts to support department needs
• Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide instruction to minimize anxiety
• Apply principles of magnetic resonance safety to minimize risk
• Select and operate magnetic resonance systems, surface coils, and associated equipment
• Position patients and equipment for optimal anatomic imaging
• Select appropriate pulse sequences following established protocols
• Perform venipuncture, start and maintain venous access
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Evaluate images for technical quality and manipulate digital data for display
• Use radiology information systems including PACS
• Provide basic life support when necessary
• Graduate of accredited radiography program required
• Experience as an MRI Technologist required
• ARRT Radiography registration required
• ARRT MRI registration required
• Approved CPR or BLS certification required
