Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Work 40-hour shifts with call responsibilities when appropriate
• Float to other units/departments as needed
• Must be competent to proficient in multiple ultrasound specialties including abdomen, gynecology, obstetrics, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular procedures
• Perform abdomen scans including aorta, IVC, liver/biliary, pancreas, spleen, and renal studies
• Conduct gynecological ultrasounds including breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, and pelvis examinations
• Complete obstetric ultrasounds for all trimesters, amniocentesis, complications, biophysical profiles, and abnormalities
• Perform procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative ultrasounds
• Conduct neonatal scans for congenital anomalies and neonatal head examinations
• Perform superficial structure scans and vascular studies including carotid duplex and extremity duplex
• Work with Canon i700 equipment, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Minimum 3 years of experience in acute hospital setting required
• Required certifications: ARDMS (AB)(OB)(RVT) and active AHA BLS certification
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment
• Dress code requires personal scrubs and healthcare professional attire

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
