Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - PACU
Job Details:
• Provide care for patients in pre-op, phase I and phase II recovery
• Care for patients after surgery requiring advanced knowledge of anesthesiology
• Assess incision sites, monitor body temperature, and track stability indicators
• Critical care skills required to identify complications
• Work with equipment including Meditech, PCA Pumps, Pyxis, Braun IV Pumps, Cryocuff, SCD's, Bair PAWS Warmers, HP Monitors, and Phillips Monitors
• Shifts vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours covering days, evenings, nights, and weekends/holidays
• Schedule varies between ASU and PACU units with no guarantee of hours or shift preference
• On-call shifts 0-3 times per month (8-hour night and 24-hour weekends/holidays)
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment
• 2+ years experience as critical care RN (ER or ICU) in hospital setting required
• Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment
• Required certifications: Valid BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association
• PALS credential recommended and may be required for specific positions
• Specialty certifications like NIHSS and TNCC preferred

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
