RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Peds Adult

Job Details:

• Day shift position primarily caring for adult patients with occasional pediatric patients
• Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in general Med/Surg unit
• Coordinate exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients using holistic care approach
• Address patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
• Utilize innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions
• Work under accountability to Unit Director and collaborate with Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor
• Minimum three years of acute care experience required
• Preference given to candidates familiar with Meditech
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure required
• BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required prior to start
• Travelers will start on Wednesdays
• During orientation week, 48-hour contract travelers guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start
• All required credentials must be uploaded five business days before start date
• NOT a pediatric-only floor - do not submit pediatric-only RNs
