RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Adult

Job Details:

• Work 13-week contract with day or night shift availability (to be determined)
• Scheduled for 36 hours per week following first full week of orientation
• Must work various shift lengths and various days with flexibility required
• No guarantee of hours or shift preference
• Provide RN med/surg level care for patients 18 years and older
• May float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units
• Maintain nurse to patient ratio of 1:5 on medical unit
• Work with equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes
• 2+ years medical surgical or higher level of care experience required
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Must have active Hawaii nursing license by start of assignment
• Professional nursing attire required with no specific scrub colors, closed toe shoes mandatory
• Department specific training and orientation included in first week
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment
