RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages including triage, assessment, treatment, and stabilization
• Respond to trauma activations, medical emergencies, and urgent care needs
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions per protocol
• Operate and assist with emergency equipment including cardiac monitors, defibrillators, and ventilators
• Collaborate with providers, EMS, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and transfers
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health record
• Educate patients and families regarding care, treatment plans, and follow-up
• Work independently while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• On-call or callback responsibilities may be required
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move patients as needed
• Must work in high-stress, fast-paced emergency situations
• Current RN license in state of practice or compact license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• PALS and TNCC preferred or willingness to obtain
• Emergency, ICU, or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Experience in rural or critical access hospital settings preferred
