RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide age-specific, direct patient care in the emergency department
• Deliver nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards
• Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other levels of employees
• Maintain compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision
• Required certifications must be active prior to contract start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and de-escalation training
• If certifications are not current, must have courses booked at time of Clinical Orientation at beginning of assignment
• Work within established nursing standards and protocols for emergency department operations
