RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work as the only night shift RN for the entire facility
• Serve as house supervisor overseeing LTC nurse and CNA staff
• Handle emergency department responsibilities including patient triage
• Provide acute care services for hospitalized patients
• Assist with long-term care duties including rounds and toileting during night shifts
• Work with a team consisting of 1 RN, 1 LPN, and 1 CNA per shift
• Handle low patient census with typically 1-2 ER patients per shift and 1-2 inpatients
• Must be experienced in emergency room and acute care settings
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• TNCC certification preferred
• Must be able to work independently and confidently manage emergency situations
• Team player attitude required with willingness to assist colleagues
• Orientation scheduled for 3/5, 3/6, and 3/7
