RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Deliver safe, effective and quality patient-family centered care in the emergency department
• Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team to develop patient care plans
• Maintain high degree of confidentiality regarding patient information
• Current Maine RN licensure required or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required within six months of hire date
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills required
• Ability to function independently in fast-paced environment
• Must be able to act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare organization
