RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg PCU Adult

Job Details:

• Work in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital providing medical surgical and progressive care unit services
• Must be experienced in all areas and willing to flex between departments as needed
• Washington state nursing license must be ACTIVE
• Identify patient and family education needs and provide appropriate education using various modalities
• Ensure patient safety through preventative measures including proper use of side rails, restraints, and equipment
• Demonstrate knowledge of safe operation of all PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg equipment
• Implement infection control and isolation procedures using standard precautions at all times
• Maintain complete, accurate, and concise documentation of patient status and nursing interventions
• Complete physician orders in timely manner and perform 24-hour order checks when applicable
• Provide comprehensive change of shift reports to incoming staff
• Report critical lab values to physicians according to policy
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, room supplies, and general supplies
• Quick start position available
