Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in 15-bed Progressive Care Unit with 3 step down ICU beds and 12 telemetry beds
• Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation
• No guarantee of hours and no call requirements
• Patient ratios: 1:4 for Progressive Care, 1:3 for Step down ICU
• Provide primary nursing care, telemetry monitoring, and telemetry strip reading
• Perform fingerstick blood sugar monitoring
• Utilize Meditech charting system and Pyxis for medications
• Work with BIPAP and continuous cardiac monitoring equipment
• Float to all acute units including Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, ICU, and ER
• At least 1 year hospital acute care experience within the last year required
• Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred
• Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment
• ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Scrubs dress code required
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
