Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Current Montana Registered Nurse licensure required
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 6 months of hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• American Heart Association ACLS certification within 8 months of hire
• American Heart Association PALS certification within 8 months of hire
• Work varied shifts including weekends and after-hours as needed
• May require working beyond standard 40-hour workweek
• On-call work may be required
• Must live at least 90 miles away from facility to be considered
• Facility reserves right to cancel 3 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
• Participate in initial 2 hours of cerebrovascular disease education within one year of hire
• Complete 1 hour annually of stroke education
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly, standing and walking for extended periods
• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and execute patient care plans
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain professional demeanor in busy and stressful ICU environment
• Work with modified primary nursing care model

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
