RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical/cardiovascular patients requiring advanced monitoring
• Work in 10-bed ICU unit with recent open heart recovery experience required
• Trained to care for open heart patients immediately after surgery from Day 1
• Operate advanced medical equipment including central lines, A-lines, multiple IVs, balloon pumps, and Impella pumps
• Care for patients requiring ventilation support or continuous renal replacement therapy
• Provide care for general medical and surgical patients on the in-patient unit
• Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision
• Act as clinical leader and assist with precepting staff
• Provide direct patient care from admission to discharge including discharge planning
• Give direction to RN, LPN, CNA, housekeeping staff, and dietary staff
• Receive direction from providers, charge nurse, acute care director, and chief nursing officer
• Willing to take care of PCU and medical surgical patients when no ICU/CVICU patients are in house
• Position classified as rapid response crisis urgency
