Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Diagnostic Imaging - Radiologic Technologist
Job Details:
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures while responding to patient questions
• Perform diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered by physicians
• Greet patients in a pleasant manner and review requests for appropriate exams and diagnosis
• Check for two patient identifiers: name and date of birth for all procedures
• Position patients properly for examinations and take correct views
• Operate CR, Fluoro and DR rooms safely and efficiently
• Perform proper start up and shut down of equipment
• Transfer images to PACS, scan documents and route appropriately
• Assist radiologists and fluoro techs during fluoroscopic and special procedure examinations
• Move portable radiographic equipment to Emergency Department, Operating Room, PACU and nursing departments
• Use proper sterile technique during examinations in operating room and radiology department
• Prepare and administer IV and oral contrast media as needed
• Document patient symptoms, history, imaging limitations, date, time of study, and technologist initials in PACS
• Maintain radiation safety practices consistent with ALARA standards
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
• Perform clerical duties and monitor workflow process utilizing PACS
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of specialized training program in Radiological Technology approved by ARRT required
• One year of experience performing radiological procedures in hospital, clinic or physician's office preferred
• Must be registered with ARRT in Radiology
• Must meet American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) standards and renew every two years
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
