Diagnostic Imaging - Radiologic Technologist

Job Details:

• Serve as Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist responsible for technical operation of radiologic x-ray equipment and processing of radiographic images
• Provide specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical services on inpatient and outpatient basis
• Work with departments including Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and ENT
• Operate teleradiology and fax equipment
• Must have Arizona State License in Radiology (R)
• ARRT Certification in Radiology ARRT (R) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Must have successfully completed radiology training from AMA approved school of Radiology
• Minimum 3 years' experience in radiology field required
• Orientation provided every 2 weeks
• Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start
• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start

This JCAHO accredited health center serves a 4,400 square mile area and operates as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The 73-bed facility was constructed in 1975 and provides comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures. Approximately 49% of surgeries performed are outpatient/ambulatory procedures. The facility maintains a diverse medical staff including specialists in surgery, internal medicine, psychiatry, pediatrics, family practice, obstetrics, ENT, orthopedics, and urology.
