RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient using the nursing process
• Provide quality care based on assessment needs and established care plans
• Administer medications and perform treatments in an accurate and safe manner
• Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge
• Document nursing process thoroughly with concise, accurate, and legible records
• Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status
• Implement physician orders as written
• Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care
• Accept responsibility for directing co-workers and delegating role-appropriate tasks
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must have permanent address 50+ miles away to qualify as traveler
• Valid Ohio nursing license required
• CPR certification required
• Associate degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Medium work capacity required: lifting 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently
