RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide direct care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as indicated
• Consult with other specialties as required for optimal patient care
• Work well under pressure and collaborate with health team members
• Coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care
• Must be able to learn quickly and be a proactive team member
• Work in a nine-bed emergency department that sees over 15,000 patients per year
• Travelers will start on Wednesdays
• During orientation week, travelers on 48-hour contracts will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start
• Current Vermont or compact multi-state RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years emergency room RN experience required
• Familiarity with Meditech or ability to learn quickly required
• Credentialing must be uploaded no later than five business days before start date
