Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Diagnostic Imaging - Radiologic Technologist

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment duration
• Perform all radiographic examinations according to facility protocols
• Assist radiologist with fluoroscopic procedures
• Operate large C-arm and O-arm equipment under surgeon direction
• Review patient identification and exam orders for consistency with clinical diagnosis
• Verify demographic information including physician names, signatures, and dates
• Maintain collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Follow established department policies for confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, and infection control
• Use HIS and PACS computer systems for quality patient documentation
• Monitor supply inventory and maintain stocked, organized exam and dressing rooms
• Must be able to work with all age populations from neonatal to geriatric patients
• Required certifications: ARRT (R) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum one year of radiology experience preferred
• Must obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days for online learning requirements
• Working knowledge of English language required for reading, writing, and speaking
• Must be HIPAA compliant
