Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work under supervision of Unit Director performing patient care functions
• Direct supervision provided by Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse during assigned shifts
• Follow State of Maine Board of Nursing guidelines and hospital policies and procedures
• 1-3 years of nursing experience preferred
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Current Maine RN license or compact license required
• BLS certification current or within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification current or within 90 days of hire
• PALS certification current or within 1 year of hire
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task effectively required
• Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation provided
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• $10/hour rate decrease applies if traveler resides within 50 miles of facility

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
