RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Tele Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:4 on a 33-bed unit
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• No block scheduling - flexibility required
• Minimum 6 months of stepdown experience required
• Must be able to float to Med/Surg or ER to take CVCU/Med Surg holds
• Care for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, CHF, and noninvasive ventilation
• Manage cardiothoracic surgery patients after ICU transfer
• Administer antiarrhythmic IV medications
• Treat patients with peripheral vascular compromise
• Provide cardiac telemetry monitoring and stepdown care
