Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 8-week assignment with up to 24 hours of call off available at no cost
• Perform low dose x-ray mammography procedures and osteoporosis exams
• Coordinate mammographic program performance under Imaging Director supervision
• Guide patients through full breast imaging process and follow-up procedures
• Critique quality of completed studies with Radiologist Medical Director
• Obtain and document significant patient history
• Maintain QC and QI requirements to meet ACR/FDA certification standards
• Operate and manipulate diagnostic equipment, computers, and peripheral equipment
• Provide radiation protection for patients, employees, and self according to safety standards
• Transport, transfer, and position patients safely
• Handle confidential information and perform necessary paperwork
• Must be ARRT registered in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M)
• Possess FDA MQSA mammography certification required
• CPR Healthcare Provider (HCP) level certification required within 3 months
• Prefer 3 years experience in mammography field
• Must demonstrate competency on department-specific equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally with frequent standing and walking
