Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Observation Unit
Job Details:
• Work 36 hours per week on day shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Primary assignment on 1S Observation unit with floating requirements to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, etc.)
• May float to Emergency Department if appropriately skilled and knowledgeable
• Taking call would be a very rare occurrence
• Current Epic EMR proficiency required - no refresher classes or 1:1 training available
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Step-down experience required
• Must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA - will be tested on day one with immediate termination if competency is not passed
• Immediate termination if Epic proficiency is not demonstrated
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract
• All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of submission

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
