RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with varied times, either 8 or 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours weekly
• Take call 1-2 days per week, approximately every 2-3 weekends, including holidays
• Required to take call as part of 4-person call team
• Work in Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular unit with 2 labs
• Use Meditech EMR documentation system
• Work with Sensis monitoring and Siemens equipment
• Perform IR, vascular, and cardiac procedures
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Apply specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography procedures, cardiac cath procedures, pacemakers and IABP insertion
• Demonstrate application of specialized skills involved in hemodynamic monitoring
• Maintain basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing
• Basic knowledge of Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine procedures required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab required
• BLS certification required
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
