Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Cardiac Imaging
Job Details:
• Minimum of five years experience required and credentialed by RDCS AE for 5 years
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Formal training from an accredited medical sonography program specializing in cardiac sonography required
• Must be credentialed by the ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) (AE)
• Current certification in BLS required
• Perform cardiac diagnostic imaging procedures to study heart anatomy and hemodynamics
• Utilize two dimensional (2D) and Doppler modalities for comprehensive cardiac assessment
• Perform online calculations to quantify cardiac parameters of function and hemodynamics
• Must demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, hemodynamics and physiology of healthy and diseased hearts
• Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias and cardiac medications required
• Assist Cardiologists during transesophageal echocardiograms
• Operate stress testing equipment when necessary
• Perform 12 lead electrocardiograms as needed
• Ability to work independently and cover lead echo technician responsibilities in their absence
• Physical requirements include lifting 20-50 pounds occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently
• Responsible for equipment cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance
• Must have good computer, verbal and written communication skills

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
