RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide age-specific direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Work within the framework of Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards
• Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other staff levels
• Minimum 5 years emergency department nursing experience required
• Leadership experience preferred
• Perform supervisory duties including managing daily unit flow and supporting team lead staff
• Handle staff scheduling issues and manage call-outs
• Step into patient assignments when census is high or call-outs occur that cannot be backfilled
• Perform triage duties as needed
• Represent unit at house-wide bed huddles
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision
