Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work full-time temporary/contract position for 26-week assignment
• Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• No nights or weekends required
• Perform variety of ultrasound procedures in accordance with provider orders and clinical standards
• Ensure all equipment is powered on, calibrated, and fully operational prior to patient procedures
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized clinical environment including cleaning and disinfecting equipment after each use
• Stock exam rooms with necessary supplies
• Communicate ultrasound results to referring providers as directed
• Manage timely follow-up for STAT results, call reports, and patients awaiting results
• Transfer images, patient information, and exam documentation to Virtual Radiology for after-hours cases
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of related ultrasound experience preferred
• Must be registered with ARDMS in one or more specialties: General, OB/GYN, or Vascular
• Current BLS certification required
• Support clinic workflow and provide excellent patient care and service
