RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work varied shifts including weekends and after-hours as needed
• May require working beyond standard 40-hour workweek
• On-call work may be required to respond promptly to patient needs
• Regular and sustained attendance required
• Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
• Facility reserves the right to cancel three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
• Current Montana RN licensure required
• Required certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course certification
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification required
• Trauma Nursing Care Coordinator certification required
• Must complete 4 hours annually of stroke education and 6 hours of verifiable trauma-related education
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and 1 year emergency nursing or critical care experience
• Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions
• Plan and implement patient and family education
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members
• Provide care for patients with hyper acute and acute stroke conditions
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious diseases
