RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Adult

Job Details:

• Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans
• Provide care to diverse patient populations including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients and reassessments per policy
• Collaborate with healthcare team including RNs, LPNs, NAs, physicians, and ancillary disciplines
• Administer medications accurately and safely following the five medication rights
• Assist physicians with procedures and perform services requiring technical and manual skills
• Educate patients and families regarding pain management and treatment plans
• Document patient care according to current standards and policies
• Participate in staff education and development of new employees
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS certification
• Must maintain current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
• Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program required
• BSN preferred
• Must complete annual educational requirements and monthly in-services
• Required to attend at least 75% of staff meetings annually
• Must adhere to dress code and wear identification badge while on duty
