RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Supervisory role in PACU/SSSU and GI departments starting as soon as possible
• Work under the direction of Peri-Operative Director
• Assist with hiring staff, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations
• Must have strong PACU and pre/post operative skills
• Provide leadership support on both clinical and non-clinical issues
• Collaborate with supervisors for issue resolution and performance improvement projects
• Organize and hold staff meetings for education and communication
• Promote and restore patient health through complete nursing process
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families
• Supervise assigned team members
• Maintain work area and use nursing assessment skills
• Recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Surgery and GI required
• 2-5 years of progressive leadership experience preferred
• Must have strong communication and writing skills
• Computer proficiency required
• Ability to work effectively with patients and family members in team environment
